Manuscript Types

Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan dan Sains Islam Interdisipliner (JIPSI) welcomes original scholarly manuscripts that align with its focus and scope in interdisciplinary Islamic studies, education, and science. The journal encourages research that contributes to the development of knowledge, critical inquiry, and dialogue across relevant academic disciplines.

JIPSI considers the following types of manuscripts for publication:

1. Original Research Articles

Original research articles report the findings of empirical or theoretical research conducted using appropriate and clearly explained methodologies. These manuscripts should present a clear research problem, relevant literature, a sound methodological approach, findings, and a discussion of their significance for the advancement of knowledge.

Research may employ qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods, or other appropriate scholarly approaches relevant to the journal's scope.

2. Review Articles

Review articles provide a critical and systematic examination of existing literature on a specific topic relevant to the journal's focus and scope. They should synthesize previous research, identify significant patterns and debates, evaluate gaps in the literature, and propose directions for future research.

Systematic reviews and other well-structured literature reviews may be considered when they demonstrate methodological rigor and a clear contribution to the field.

3. Conceptual and Theoretical Articles

Conceptual and theoretical articles develop, examine, or challenge concepts, theories, frameworks, and scholarly arguments relevant to interdisciplinary Islamic studies, education, and science. These manuscripts should demonstrate analytical depth, logical coherence, engagement with relevant literature, and a clear contribution to theoretical or conceptual development.

4. Case Studies

Case studies provide an in-depth analysis of a particular institution, community, educational practice, social phenomenon, or other relevant case. They should establish the significance of the case, explain the methods of investigation, present evidence-based findings, and discuss the broader implications for scholarship and practice.

5. Methodological Articles

Methodological articles introduce, develop, adapt, or critically evaluate research methods, analytical frameworks, or scholarly approaches relevant to the journal's areas of interest. They should explain the methodological contribution and demonstrate its relevance, applicability, or potential value for future research.
