Abstract

Keterlibatan dan partisipasi siswa merupakan prasyarat keberhasilan pembelajaran PKn, namun pembelajaran yang didominasi metode ceramah di kelas V SDN 3 Masbagik Utara membuat kedua aspek tersebut belum berkembang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Think-Pair-Share terhadap keterlibatan dan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran PKn. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif quasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design, yang diterapkan pada 45 siswa kelas V, terdiri atas 23 siswa kelompok eksperimen dan 22 siswa kelompok kontrol yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor posttest keterlibatan kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol, dengan signifikansi 0,000, sementara skor posttest partisipasi kelompok eksperimen juga lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol, dengan signifikansi 0,003. Model Think-Pair-Share memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap keterlibatan dan partisipasi siswa secara simultan, sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran PKn di sekolah dasar.
