Integrating Islamic values into English language teaching requires alignment among language objectives, materials, classroom activities, and assessment. This study aims to examine teachers’ understanding and practices of Islamic value integration, explore students’ experiences, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors at MTs Raudlatul Qur’an Batam. The study adopts a qualitative single-case study design with an interpretive orientation. Twelve informants will be selected purposively, comprising nine eighth-grade students, one English teacher, the principal, and the vice-principal for curriculum. Data will be collected through semi-structured interviews, non-participant classroom observations, and analysis of instructional documents. Reflexive thematic analysis will involve data familiarization, coding, theme development and review, theme definition, and interpretive writing. Trustworthiness will be supported through comparison across data sources, a reflexive journal, and documentation of analytical decisions. The study seeks to explain the relationships among values planned by the teacher, values enacted in classroom practices, and values interpreted by students. Its anticipated contribution is a contextual understanding of Islamic value integration that can inform instructional material development and professional support for English teachers in Islamic junior secondary schools.
