This study examines how the deliberative values of Rapulung, a Samawa local practice, can be transformed into Sociology learning resources for understanding social conflict and evaluating social resolutions. A qualitative case study at MAN 1 Sumbawa Barat involved nine informants: a Sociology teacher, six students, a school leader, and a cultural informant. Interviews, classroom observations, and learning documents were interpreted through reflexive thematic analysis. Triangulated evidence included the teacher’s account of students mapping competing interests, student reflections on revising initial judgments, and observed patterns of dialogue and reason-giving. Five interconnected values emerged: openness, equality of voice, deliberation, consensus, and collective responsibility. Their pedagogical translation involved identifying actors and interests, comparing explanations, testing evidence, negotiating fair and feasible alternatives, and reflecting on the consequences for affected parties. Students’ accounts indicated movement from assigning personal blame toward relational and structural explanations, although this qualitative evidence does not establish a causal effect. The study contributes a five-stage instructional framework that makes Rapulung an epistemic and ethical resource for conflict learning while protecting dissenting voices from being obscured by superficial consensus
