This research is grounded in the significance of psychological and behavioral factors in achieving the objectives of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK). The study aims to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence, learning motivation, and exercise awareness with PJOK learning outcomes among high school students, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative approach with correlational research design and multivariate correlational analysis was employed. The research sample consisted of 555 students from UM Malang Laboratory High School, selected through purposive sampling technique.
The findings revealed significant correlations between emotional regulation and PJOK learning outcomes (Sig. = 0.002; r = 0.131), student learning motivation and sports learning outcomes (r = 0.103), and exercise awareness with learning outcomes (r = 0.196). However, the strength of these three relationships was categorized as very low. Multiple linear regression analysis demonstrated that emotional intelligence, learning motivation, and exercise awareness simultaneously had a significant correlation with PJOK learning outcomes (Sig. = 0.000) with a contribution of 4.2% (R² = 0.042), while 95.8% was influenced by other factors outside this research. Therefore, it can be concluded that emotional intelligence, learning motivation, and exercise awareness are significantly related to high school students' PJOK learning outcomes, both partially and simultaneously.
Based on these findings, students are expected to enhance their emotional intelligence, learning motivation, and exercise awareness through literacy development and regular physical activity habits to support improved fitness and learning outcomes.
