This study aims to determine the structure in madrasas in the country and government initiatives in madrasas. Qualitative methods are used through interviews and field observations, combined with analyzing library documents and sources. The results of the study show that there are significant differences between madrassas in the North that emphasize Islamic and community-based education, and madrassas in the South that prioritize integrated education between religion and the public, as well as obstacles such as limited resources, inequality of facilities, and modernization demands. Strengthening governance, curriculum integration, and government support are key to optimizing madrasas as relevant educational and social institutions in Nigeria.</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> Busari Afeez Babatunde Sarkanto Eka Mahargiani Rokhma Mubayinah Triana Hermawati Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan dan Sains Islam Interdisipliner 2025-08-30 2025-08-30 99 112 10.59944/jipsi.v4i3.469 Innovating islamic education through multiple intelligences-based learning at raudhatul huffaz center https://journal.amorfati.id/index.php/JIPSI/article/view/473 <p>This study aims to describe in depth the implementation of innovative learning based on Multiple Intelligences (MI) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at Rumah Belajar Raudhatul Huffaz. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and literature analysis. The results show that the application of Multiple Intelligences-based learning strategies accommodates the diversity of students' potentials, interests, and learning styles. Teachers actively design and implement various learning activities, including group discussions, worship practices, creative arts, educational games, and project-based problem solving. Each activity is structured to develop students' intelligence aspects. This innovative approach has been proven to enhance students' learning motivation, active participation, and understanding of Islamic Religious Education materials. Furthermore, the implementation fosters an inclusive and collaborative learning environment, enabling students to gain self-confidence and express their potentials optimally. Thus, the implementation of Multiple Intelligences-based learning at Rumah Belajar Raudhatul Huffaz is effective in improving the quality of both the learning process and outcomes in Islamic Religious Education, while also supporting the holistic development of students' character.</p> Azka Musthofa Maryam Hanifah Mohamad Ali Abdul Nizar Aris Munandar Mu'minah Husna Nashihin Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan dan Sains Islam Interdisipliner 2025-08-31 2025-08-31 113 122 10.59944/jipsi.v4i3.473 Integrating al-qur’an, hadith, and science in islamic education: Tracing scientific insights https://journal.amorfati.id/index.php/JIPSI/article/view/453 <table> <tbody> <tr> <td> <p>Islam views knowledge as a fundamental element of human life, emphasizing the harmonization between revelation and reason in the pursuit of truth. The Qur’an and Hadith serve as the primary sources of moral and transcendental values, while reason and science function as instruments to understand the phenomena of Allah’s creation. Thus, in Islam, knowledge is not solely directed toward material advancement, but also serves as a means of spiritual devotion and the welfare of the community. This study employs a library research method to examine the concept of knowledge in Islam and its relevance to the development of modern science. The findings reveal that Islam not only encourages scientific exploration but also provides an ethical foundation for its application. In fields such as cosmology, astronomy, embryology, and modern technology, numerous scientific discoveries affirm the Qur’anic indications of the orderliness of Allah’s creation. This demonstrates that science and religion in the Islamic perspective are not opposing entities, but rather complementary ones. Although debates persist on certain issues, such as the theory of evolution or the concept of the multiverse, these discourses are not threats to Islamic teachings. Instead, they open space for contemporary ijtihad that enriches the body of Muslim scholarship. By positioning revelation as a moral compass and science as a technical instrument, Islam offers a balanced scientific paradigm—one that avoids the traps of secular scientism that neglects spirituality, as well as textual literalism that denies rationality. Accordingly, this study affirms that the integration between Islam and science is a path toward building an advanced, sustainable civilization rooted in divine values. Science becomes a means of tafakkur that deepens faith, while revelation provides ethical direction and spiritual purpose in the utilization of knowledge. The synergy between the two is crucial for the development of Islamic education, enabling the emergence of generations who are intellectually excellent while remaining spiritually and morally steadfast.</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> Ihah Solihah Isma Hisbullah Aljauhany Khaibar Akmaluddin Ahmad Mustafidin Safa Alrumayh Alfian Eko Rochmawan Abdul Azid Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan dan Sains Islam Interdisipliner 2025-08-31 2025-08-31 123 131 10.59944/jipsi.v4i3.453 Teacher strategies for developing qur'anic reading skills in sixth grade: A case study at sdn 1 tempursari https://journal.amorfati.id/index.php/JIPSI/article/view/457 <table> <tbody> <tr> <td> <p>This research aims to identify and analyze various approaches used by Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving Qur'an reading skills among 6th-grade students at SDN 1 Tempursari in the 2024/2025 academic year. The study employs a descriptive qualitative methodology, collecting data through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Research participants include Islamic Religious Education teachers, school principals, and 6th-grade students. The research findings reveal that strategies implemented by Islamic Religious Education teachers include: (1) application of the Iqro' method adapted to each student's proficiency level; (2) utilization of audio-visual learning media and digital applications for Qur'an learning; (3) organization of peer tutoring study groups; (4) implementation of regular Qur'an recitation activities for 15 minutes before Islamic Religious Education lessons begin; and (5) establishment of collaboration with parents and local Qur'anic Education Centers (TPQ) in the school environment. Several factors supporting the success of these strategies include supportive school policies, availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure, and active parental involvement. Meanwhile, factors hindering strategy implementation include limited time allocated for Islamic Religious Education learning, diversity in students' basic abilities, and minimal habituation of Qur'an reading in the family environment. Based on the research results, several recommendations are proposed including increasing time allocation for Qur'an learning, developing religious extracurricular programs, and optimizing parents' role in accompanying children learning to read the Qur'an at home.</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> Santi Mubarokah Amir Mukminin Mohammad Abdul Munjid Edi Susanto Mohammad Farhan Zeb Khan Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan dan Sains Islam Interdisipliner 2025-08-31 2025-08-31 132 138 10.59944/jipsi.v4i3.457 Character building through non-formal education and parental collaboration in malaysia https://journal.amorfati.id/index.php/JIPSI/article/view/460 <p>This research deeply examines character building in productive age through non- formal education approach and strategic collaboration between parents and At- Tanzil Guidance Center, Serdang, Malaysia. Productive age is a crucial period in character building, but the lack of solid synergy between parents and non-formal education institutions often becomes an obstacle in achieving transformative results. Through a case study method with interview and observation techniques with parents, learners, and teachers, it was found that the active involvement of parents with programs in Sanggar significantly increased the motivation, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and empathy of learners. This study recommends the development of more innovative programs and the strengthening of sustainable collaboration between families and non-formal education institutions. Various positive activities such as skills training and religious activities have proven to be able to be internalized into children's daily lives, especially when supported by the consistent role of parents at home. The role of parents is proven to be the main pillar in maintaining continuity and strengthening the impact of the education that has been initiated, making it a non-negotiable key factor in the success of character building. The survey results strongly suggest that the role of parents is not just important, but is a vital, strategic, and irreplaceable keyword in sustaining, strengthening, and ensuring the continuity of every educational achievement that has been pioneered in the Guidance Studio at tanzil serdang malaysia. Parental support, whether in the form of active involvement, intense communication with the school, or attention to the development of children's learning at home, is the main foundation for the success of the educational process. Without a strong synergy between schools and parents, all the efforts and educational programs that have been implemented will be difficult to achieve maximum and sustainable results.</p> Mohammad Fattah Siti Kamilatul Fadhilah Uci Andani Riky Supratama Warda Helwiyah Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan dan Sains Islam Interdisipliner 2025-08-31 2025-08-31 139 149 10.59944/jipsi.v4i3.460 Optimizing instagram as a supporting platform for self-taught arabic learning for islamic boarding school students https://journal.amorfati.id/index.php/JIPSI/article/view/452 <p>This research aims to optimize the use of Instagram as a supportive platform in self-directed Arabic language learning for students at Islamic boarding schools.
